Tecma Associates, Inc. served as the prime consultant providing Phase III Construction Engineering Services for this $15 million IDOT project, completed in 2022. The project included the widening and resurfacing of IL 132 to improve traffic flow and safety in the Village of Lindenhurst.
Key improvements included modernization of traffic signals, installation of a new shared-use path, and construction of ADA-compliant pedestrian ramps to enhance accessibility. Additional work involved extensive earthwork, removal and replacement of concrete curb and gutter, new sidewalk installation, and driveway pavement reconstruction.
The project scope also included the installation of new drainage structures and storm sewer systems, traffic control implementation, erosion control, pavement markings, signage, and landscaping enhancements to improve roadway function and corridor aesthetics.
