Tecma Associates, Inc, served as a subconsultant to 4HD on this $3 million Illinois Tollway (ISTHA) Systemwide LED Underpass Lighting Improvements project. Our team provided Resident Engineering services, overseeing the removal of existing underpass lighting, installation of new LED lighting systems, and upgrades to underpass lighting equipment. The project also included the installation of new lighting controller equipment at two key locations:
- I-94 Milepost 24.9 (Deerfield Road) in Lake County
- I-355 Milepost 20.0 (I-88 WB Ramp) in DuPage County
This project required active coordination with the Tollway Roadway Lighting & ITS staff, General Engineering Consultant (GEC), and the Contractor to ensure successful implentation and compliance with ISTHA standards.
