Mr. Meropolski has over 25 years of construction engineering experience in Northern Illinois, and he has presided over some of the most complex roadway/bridge construction programs ever undertaken by IDOT during his tenure as District One Area Construction Supervisor from 2005 to April, 2021.  These programs include the $850 Million Jane Byrne Interchange Program, the $1 Billion Dan Ryan Expressway Reconstruction Program, and the $150 Million Lake Shore Drive/I-55 Interchange.
